Oakland School District is now accepting applications for a 2nd grade teacher. 

 

Estimated start date: August 25, 2025

 

DEFINITION OF DUTIES: Provide instruction to 2nd grade students along with other duties as assigned by principal.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Current Oregon Teaching License with proper endorsement; energetic team player; positive classroom manager; preference given to those candidates with practical and working knowledge of PBIS (Positive Behavior Support) strategies.

 

POSTIONS IS OPEN UNIL FILLED.

Oakland School District is on a 4 day school week. Mon-Thurs, 7:30 am-4:15 pm, 2 Fri’s/month for 6 hrs/day.

 

Application Materials needed for application are the: Talent Ed Application, Letter of Application(Interest), minimum of Three (3) current letters of recommendation, Copy of Oregon Teaching Certification (front and back), Copy of transcripts with latest degree listed. Drug Screen (upon employment)
